Slither & Spike

Two snakes, Slither and Spike, were out for a stroll, when Spikee turned to Slither and asked — “Are we poisonous?”

“Why no, we’re not,” said Slither.

Again Spike asked, “Are you sure we’re not poisonous?”

“Yes, we are definitely NOT poisonous!” exclaimed Slither.

Yet, again, Spike asked, “Are you ABSOLUTELY sure we’re not poisonous?”

“Yes, as a matter of fact, we are probably the most harmless snakes in the whole world,” answered Slither. “Why do you ask?”

“Because I just bit my lip,” said Spike.
