Giorgio’s new shoes…
Giorgio is in this country for about 6 months. As he walks to work each day and passes a shoe store, he stops and looks in the window to admire a $300 pair of Bocceli leather shoes. It takes him a full 2 months, but he finally saves the money and buys the shoes.
When he learns that the Italian community gets together for a dance in the church basement every Friday night, Giorgio seizes the opportunity and attends the dance so he can show off his new $300 shoes. He asks Sophia to dance, and while they are on the dance floor he asks, “Sophia, do you weara reda panties tonight?”
Startled, Sophia, says, ” Yes, Giorgio, I do wear red panties tonight, but how do you know?”
Giorgio replies, “I seea the reflection in my newa $300 Bocceli leather shoes, Howa do you likea them?”
A short time later he asks Rosa to dance, and after a few minutes on the dance floor he says, “Rosa, doa you weara white panties tonight?” Rosa, who is also surprised by the question, answers, “Yes, Giorgio, I do, but how do you know that?” He says, “I seea the reflection in my newa $300 Bocceli leather shoes. Howa do you likea them?”
The evening is now coming to a close, and just before the last song is played, Giorgio asks Carmella to dance. Midway through the dance his face turns red. Then he says, “Carmella, pleasea, pleasea tella me you wear no panties tonight, pleasea, pleasea, tella me thisa is true!” Carmella answers, “Yes Giorgio, I wear no panties tonight.”
Giorgio gasps and says, “Thanka God…I thoughta I hada crack in my new $300 Bocceli leather shoes.”
