This is the official home page for the good, the bad, and the ugly. Or, if it isn’t (every thing has an official home page these days) it might have some stuff in it that is good, bad, or ugly. All things considered I’d put my money on the bad and ugly if I were you.

Nobody’s actually reading web pages? There’s more hope for the human race than I thought.

My faithful readers may have noticed that July and August have been prolific months for adding new pages to ye olde site. I’m not sure what this means. If you know, don’t tell me – to be honest, I’d rather not know. I have my suspicions and I’d just as soon not have them confirmed, thank you.

I haven’t the vaguest idea as to what will be added next. I have in mind to add the recipe for Thompson’s Turkey to the recipes page. I expect I will do some more fiction. However it has been suggested to me that I try my hand at professional writing. This I expect to do. What this means is that I will write various pieces and send them off to live in slush piles for a few months. When the inevitable rejection notices come back I will put the pieces up on my web site. Think of this site as a trash center.

Other than that I imagine I will continue to serve as a sand bar in the currents of internet humor wherein odds and ends of intellectual driftwood pile up. Somewhere along the way I may finish writing the endlessly fascinating little stories of my life. On the other hand I may not. Who knows? There hasn’t been any great consistency or predictability about what appears here. And that’s the way I like it.
