You resign yourself to your fate and offer that deference and respect that tradition demands you give to him. Slowly you discover that things are not as bad as they seemed. He may be callow but he loves you and is truly grateful to you. You speak to one of the older women about your dissatisfaction with his love making. She counsels you on what to do, what to ask of him, and what to say to him. Whatever you thought, it is your part to teach him and not his to teach you. After a while the two of you adjust to each other and make each other happy. You are the stronger of the two and he leans on you; it is a burden you are happy to bear. It is only at the end after he passes away that you realize that you were always leaning on him.
