Reassuring Words

An elderly friend of mine was recently hospitalized for heart trouble…

“I’m so worried,” my friend said to his nurse as she plumped up the pillows for him. “Last week, I read about a man who was in the hospital because of heart trouble, and he died of malaria.”

“Relax,” the nurse said smiling. “This is a first-rate hospital. When we treat someone for heart trouble, they die of heart trouble.”
