One day some next door neighbors got to arguing about whose dog was smarter…

“My dog is so smart,” said Myrna. “Every morning he waits for the paperboy to come around and then he fetches a newspaper and brings it to me.”

“I know,” said Ruth.

“How do you know that? You are never up that early in the morning!” asked Myrna.

“My dog told me,” answered Ruth.
