Richard’s Dessert Topping

This is one of my spur of the moment inventions that is really quite nice, albeit more than a little sinful. It is a dessert topping for Yanks who don’t have access to double cream.

Ingredients

1 pint heavy whipping cream
1/4 lb butter (1 stick)
3 tablespoons powdered sugar

Preparation

Pour the cream into a blender. Melt half the stick of butter under low heat. Pour melted butter into cream and blend it in. Melt the other half stick, pour it in, and blend it in also. The cream should be nice and thick. Sprinkle the powdered sugar in and blend it in also.

Serves about a dozen or so, depending on the relationship between you and your arteries.
