Fluffy pheasants

As it happens, the computer sits next to the picture window. Whilst absorbing the collective wisdom of usenet I glance out the window from time to time to take in such wildlife as may be dining on the bushes. The enormous rabbit has come and gone. At the moment there are two pheasant roosters sitting in the edge of the woods. They have fluffed themselves out against the cold and look like large brown fuzzballs with tiny heads, avian buddhas engaged in some obscure avian meditation.
