Powerful IntelligenceDanny Russell supplied the following story of a great mind at work. I work for the Power Company here on the coast. A few years ago we had a hurricane come on land in our fair city and of course poles and power lines were down everywhere leaving everyone in the city without electricity. After several days without power, customers were beginning to get a little anxious to have power restored. On this particular day I answered the phone to a lady who was very upset, she ask when she could expect her power be back on. I gave her the answer and she got even more upset. I tried to explain that the winds etc. from the hurricane were the cause and that our poles and power lines had been blown down and that it would take some time to get it all back in place. She said that was no excuse because we had known for days before the storm hit that it was coming and that gave us plenty of time to prepare. I ask her what she meant to which she replied; You could have gone out three days ago and taken all these poles and wires down and avoided them being broken by the wind!
