From Russia With Kablooie

About 1990, in spring, the city of Magadan, situated in the Far East of Russia, shook with a strongest explosion that was ever heard in this quiet city. It happened right downtown; the glasses in houses one block away broke.

Mr. X, by rumors a 50 year old businessman who went broke, was heading to the Governor’s office (he even had an appointment scheduled) with an intention to blast the city hall with the wholeheartedly hated bureaucrats who, according to his opinion, were the ones to blame for his failures. He had TNT sticks all over his body under his garment, they were not hard to get in the army regiments nearby.

Magadan was heading for a new election of the Governor, but the money of the taxpayers was saved by the fact that the terrorist accidentally pulled the trigger of his self-invented device two blocks away from the goal.

The Darwin’s award could not be bestowed upon his remains because parts of them were found all over the place, as far as hundreds of feet away. City dogs must have thrown a big party that night.
