Cabbage and Ground Pork Casserole
Cabbage and Ground Pork Casserole Mince the onion and the pepper. Brown the ground pork and mince if not finely chopped. Mix the pork, onion, pepper, seasonings, and rice. Cut enough leaves from the head of cabbage to cover two layers of a casserole bowl; drop into boiling salted water for 2 minuts; drain. Cover the bottom of the casserole bowl with cabbage leaves. Cover the leaves with a layer of mixture. Cover the mixture with a second layer of cabbage leaves. Cover the second cabbage leaf layer with a second layer of mixture. Cut the tomatoes in sections and line them on the edges and the center of the dish. Lightly drizzle olive oil on the the tomato sections. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 60 minutes.
