North Station and South Station

This annoying little puzzle was composed by Doug Hoylman.

There are two train stations in Boston and only two stations. They are called North Station and South Station. North Station can handle more passengers than South Station. North Station occupies more ground than South Station. North Station has more tracks than South Station. Indeed, North Station is superior to South Station in every respect. None-the-less and notwithstanding, North Station is not the largest train station in Boston.

How can this be?
